Fidelio buys and operates companies across the corridor, and helps international investors take a position through Italian residency or Türkiye's new 20-year tax regime.
Our ventures
A €2-trillion market built on family-owned businesses, many now facing a generational handover with no successor. That succession gap is the opportunity — and it's where we work: sourcing, acquiring and operating companies in the corridor ourselves. Below are the ventures we've acquired and are building.
We sourced, negotiated, acquired and now operate an Italian SME — the full deal cycle.
Full-cycle deal execution and hands-on operating inside the Italian SME system; in which only 5% of SMEs have a succession plan — the foundation everything else here rests on.

Invest in Italy
Italy's Investor Visa gives you a renewable residence permit and Schengen access when you put equity into an Italian company. We help you choose the company — turning a visa requirement into an investment with genuine potential.
The core part isn't the forms — it's deciding which company is worth €250,000–€500,000 of your equity and holding it for five years. We source candidates, run the diligence, negotiate your entry, and stay involved after — so your residency capital becomes a genuine investment opportunity, not just the cost of a visa.
General information, current as of June 2026 — not legal advice. We work with licensed Italian immigration counsel on every application.
Move to Türkiye
From 2026, Türkiye lets qualifying new residents keep their foreign income and capital gains outside the Turkish tax base — for twenty years. We help the right people qualify, relocate, and set it up so it holds.
It's foreign income only. Income earned inside Türkiye is taxed normally (15–40%), there's no credit for foreign tax you've paid, and getting the conditions wrong means reassessment with penalties. It is not "pay no tax in Türkiye" — it is "pay no Turkish tax on what you earn outside Türkiye." Stating that plainly is exactly why the rest holds up.
We're Turkish–Italian and we operate on the ground, in your language. The value isn't the headline — it's the non-residence test, how your income is classified, and the structuring that decides whether the exemption holds.

About
We work one corridor — Italy and Türkiye — because we know both sides from the inside, not from a brochure. Capital, companies, and people move between these two countries; few advisors are genuinely native to both. We are.
Derin Sönmez was born in Istanbul and has spent his career working across the corridor Fidelio is built on. He began in the automotive industry, moving from design into senior management roles with Italian and Chinese carmakers — years inside Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands such as Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Fiat; then leadership positions with Changan, one of China's largest automakers. As Head of Strategy, Branding and UX, he led the brand's market entry into Europe, working directly with Chinese state-owned industry and government-level counterparts. The result was a career conducted between Türkiye, EU and China.
After an MBA at INSEAD, he moved from managing companies to buying them. He co-founded an Italian search fund, led a two-year acquisition search, and acquired a Milan-based services company that he operates today as its co-CEO — the full cycle, from sourcing and diligence to negotiation, closing, and day-to-day management inside the Italian system.
Living eight countries taught him what most advisors only read about: what it actually takes to move a life across borders. Fidelio exists to make that experience available.
We stay selective, hands-on, and discreet. When we take something on, we're in it.
